contact form 7 & 3.5.1?

  • I am having some issues with the plugin “contact form 7” and possibly the latest version of WordPress ( 5.5.1 )? I am getting the “Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact administrator by other way” error… I’ve tried everything I’ve read on multiple forums on the issue and still no dice… anyone experience this nagging issue and was able to get a solution?? The site is hosted on Netfirms shared hosting…

    *the plugin worked previously… just started this behavior after the update ( to 3.5.1 ) as far as I can tell…

    How recent is this problem? According to some other threads on here yesterday, Netfirms was having problems – have you checked with them?

    Yeah I did… they had some issues today I think… but this looks like it’s been a few weeks and WordPress was updated to 3.5.1 in around that time…
