Contact Form 7 (4.8) using REST API

  • Hi,
    i′m using Woffice as extranet theme and installed Contact Form 7 (4.8) as form plugin.
    After hitting “send” button, form is not send by mail but the round arrow sign is spinning.

    After contacting Theme support, he wrote:

    “Regarding your question, it seems to be related with the latest update of the Contact Form 7 (4.8) which is using the WordPress Rest API instead of the older method jQuery way. In this case you can revert your Contact Form 7 plugin to an older version, or ask them for more information and possible solution in their support forums.”

    Do you have a solution for this issue?

    Try switching to the default theme.

    I′m sorry but that′s not a solution.
    I bought this theme and it supported Contact Form 7 until Version 4.7.

    In my opinion: it′s a deterioration if your Plugin only works with default theme.
