Contact Form 7 and WP Mail-SMTP

I am new to WP this week and am using tutorials to try and build a temp web site. I have read many posts on this topic but I still don’t understand what I need to do to get my contact form to send an email properly.
I get the message “Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.” After reading about this error, I installed WP Mail-SMTP but I don’t know how it needs to be configured.
My mail is hosted by yahoo. pop.bizmail.yahoo.com is incoming server.
smtp.bizmail.yahoo.com is outgoing server but nothing I have tried seems to work. Can someone please tell me specifically what I need to do to configure the send button on the Contact form that contact form 7 creates?
Under Settings, EMail on the dashboard, I am not sure what goes where. I have checked send all emails via SMTP, set return path to match From, SMTP host = smtp.bizmail.yahoo.com , Use SSL encryption which is how my Outlook is setup, and I have tried both With and Without Email authentication. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
