Contact Form 7 (Approve a submitted form back to user after checked and confirm)

I am using contact form DB to gather and save the data submitted through contact form 7. I would like to have a button ‘Approve’ for each data record, and when the admin click on it, the button become ‘Approved’, and it will auto send an email to my clients saying that your application have been reviewed and confirmed.

I understand that the CFDB Editor have a feature add column “Status”, from there we can make a marked as our own reference, but it does not invoke any function. However, it still doesn’t fullfil my needs.
