    Hello,

I have tried entering the following shortcodes

    [geoip_detect2_user_info]

    [geoip_detect2_property_country]

    IP of the user: [geoip_detect2_get_client_ip]
    Country: [geoip_detect2_property_country]
    State or region: [geoip_detect2_property_region]
    City: [geoip_detect2_property_city]

    Data from: [geoip_detect2_get_current_source_description]

into the message body of my contact form 7 email, but when I receive the email, I just get the shortcodes and not the information.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Hm, I just tested it on my installation and it works. Which versions of this plugin and CF7 are you using?

    Thanks for your quick reply.

    I am on CF7 – Version 5.3.2, Geolocation Version 4.0.1, WordPress 5.6

The plugin seems to work filling in the correct information on the forms front end, and when I run a test in the backend, but yeah just on the message body, seems to always have the shortcode.

Hm, I am using the same versions. Do you use other plugins that integrate with CF7, maybe even adding other CF7 shortcodes ?

Does the CF7 shortcode [_remote_ip] work?

    Hi Benjamin,

Thanks for your help, I have found the issue, it was to do with our hosting setup, nothing to do with your plugin.
