contact form 7 – conditional field recent?

Hello,
I want to have some conditional fields in my cf7 (dropdown menu only appears if checkbox before is chosen).
The only real guide I found was from BunnyBomb

but already 2 years old….

Is there a more recent, easier way, to create conditional fields? I guess a plugin would be widely used, but not existent right?
