Contact Form 7 Display Field Label Inside Field

  • Is there a way to have the field labels (name, email address, etc) display inside the field boxes themselves instead of on separate lines, as regular html forms can do?

    Yes, this is really easy to achieve with the latest version of Contact Form 7. You use the ‘watermark’ functionality. Here’s an example of how you use it:

    [text* your-name watermark "Your Name"]
