Contact Form 7 does not translate text

    My WordPress site uses Polylang plugin for using multi-languages. Also run Contact Form 7 plugin. By default Contact Form 7 plugin should use the multi-languages packages that are installed in the WP map: /wp-content/languages/plugins/. But I only get English text. Polylang plugin does work correct for all other stuff.

    I get no error message from Contact Form 7 plugin.

    Maybe I forget something to set in this shortcode:

    [contact-form-7 id="12" title="Contact form 1"]

    Here the form:

    <label> Your Name (required)
[text* your-name] </label>

<label> Your Email (required)
[email* your-email] </label>

<label> Your Message
[textarea your-message] </label>

[submit "Send"]

    Move to the admin menu Users > Your Profile to set your Language, then create a new contact form at Contact > Add New.

    So when my site has 4 languages like ; NL-EN-DE-FR
    I have to set my language 4 times in user profile and add 4 different contact forms?
    Strange way to get 4 languages active.

    How does the system knows which contact form to choose?
    There must be a recognition for eacht language.
    With other words: I do not understand your solution.

    No solution found till now. Plugin Author does not come with a solution. And what he described can not work. I also get no explanation. Maybe to difficult to solve. We’re both the only users that use his mod in multi-language I suppose.
    But I am open for a working solution!

    worked for me, change the language of admin prior creating a new form. indeed it is a weird way round but it works

    I have uninstalled the crazy plugin. They are already years active and still do not have translations?! I have wrote my own contact form. That was done in 1 hour and… multi-language.

    @henkmat – Did you just write a form from scratch, or is this a plugin you’re willing to share?

    I was able to get the form translated by using WPGlobus and creating a different form for each language, but now I can’t figure out how to translate the validation messages for each language.
    UPDATE

    It looks like WPGlobus offers different validation messages for each language. I totally missed that the first time.
