Contact Form 7 doesnt work!!!

I downloaded the Contact form 7 and its not working. I tried all the suggestions that I read but I feel like I am doing something wrong?

1. Under “Contact”, I made a new form, didn’t change much, and posted it onto my website. It comes out fine. When I try to send an email, it says it was successful – but i didn’t receive any email in my inbox.
2. Under “Settings” and then “Email”, I put from email (my gmail), From Name (my name), Mailer PHO mail function to send emails.
3. I also have WP-Mail_SMTP plug in to reconfigure with the settings from Email (my gmail), From Name (my name), Mailer PHP mail function to send emails.

Nothing works…. help ??
