Contact Form 7 Email Verification

  • Hi.

    I would like to ask if theres a feature or plugin for enail verification. Wherein when a user submits a form, they need to click a verification link to verify their email.

    is this possible?

    Contact Form 7 doesn’t provide built-in validation methods, but you can code your own. The plugin author wrote a post about this subject: Custom validation.

    However, this validation is performed before the form is submitted. I think you want to ask your users their email validation after sending the form, that’s right?

    It will be helpful to have an example of use, in order to understand your case and try to help you better.

    Hi Yordan. Thanks for your support. Sadly that’s not what I need and sorry for not stating clearly my concern. The email verification I need is when a user filled in their email, contact form 7 will send a code to the email then the user needs to enter this code to verify their email.

    Is this possible with contact form 7?

    Are you trying to use Contact Form 7 to handle a newsletter subscription form? If so, CF7 doesn’t provide such functionality built-in, but there are several third-party plugins for CF7 that provides integration with more common email marketing services.

    A search in the WordPress Plugin Directory may help.
