Contact Form 7 error – cannot send from from website

FAQ > After submitting the form, I get an error message stating “There was an error trying to send your message.” What is wrong?

Yes, I understand it is regarded as spam. But what is the solution? We have not had any issues for a long time and suddenly it is regarded as spam. What causes this and what is the solution?

Where on the site do you have the form having the issue?

Have you tried removing all the recaptcha plugins and see if your forms work?

If yes, then just use ‘WP Armour’ for stopping spam. This is what I do too.

The solution was adding an SMTP plugin. I used WP Mail SMTP but any plugin should work. We were using GoDaddy – there was probably an update on their end that stopped websites from being able to use PHP mail and required SMTP instead.

We have the same issue again!
The first time, we had to spend some money on help to fix this. And now the issue is back!
I believe the solution was to install a SMTP plugin, so how can the issue be back again?
