    Hello.

I have noticed that when I use “Contact Form 7” plugin, which is a plugin that allows including contact forms on a website, and I install the “Manage Notification E-mails” plugin, then the Contact Form 7 plugin shows this error when sending a form:
“There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.”

This is very annoying and the only way I found is to disable the “Manage Notification E-mails” plugin so that CF7 works again.

Can you please investigate on what is going on with the compatibility with that plugin?

    Hi @doolyo,
I’ve tested Contact Form 7 in combination with the Manage Notification E-mails plugin without any problems. Contact Form 7 is a largely used plugin and I think a lot of the users who have installed MNE plugin also have Contact Form 7 installed without any problems. Maybe something else is producing this error? If you solved the issue, please confirm this. It will help other users as well ??
    Kind regards

    Good to know.
However for me it still doesn’t work, I cannot fix the issue.

I tried to remove all plugins I could but had to leave some enabled so that it can be displayed properly.
So these are my plugins that are remaining that I did not disable, so that the form can still work when the “manage notification e-mails” plugin is disabled:

    – Contact Form 7: version: 5.5.2, author: Takayuki Miyoshi, Auto-updates enabled
    – Contact Form 7 Multilingual: version: 1.1.0, author: OnTheGoSystems, Auto-updates disabled
    – Easy WP SMTP: version: 1.4.7, author: wpecommerce, alexanderfoxc, Auto-updates enabled
    – Manage Notification E-mails: version: 1.8.0, author: Virgial Berveling, Auto-updates enabled
    – Shapely Companion: version: 1.2.6, author: Colorlib, Auto-updates enabled
    – WPML Media: version: 2.7.0, author: OnTheGoSystems, Auto-updates disabled
    – WPML Multilingual CMS: version: 4.5.0, author: OnTheGoSystems, Auto-updates disabled
    – WPML String Translation: version: 3.2.0, author: OnTheGoSystems, Auto-updates disabled

So it seems that something is really going wrong in “Manage Notification E-mails” plugin because if I disable it then sending the form with Contact Form 7 works immediately.
Else it can be one of these plugins that creates a conflict.
Maybe you are able to try the same setup?

I really need your plugin so I hope you could help.

    Thank you

    Hello.

I am still having this issue and have not been able to figure out the problem.
I tried uninstalling the MNE plugin and reinstalling, but contact form 7 refuses to submit the form as soon as the MNE plugin is activated, and works very well as soon as I disable the MNE plugin.

Have you been able to reproduce this issue in the conditions mentioned above?

    I really need help.

Hi @doolyo I’ve investigated your problem and installed all the plugins you’ve mentioned. I’ve even installed those in an Multisite environment and everything works as expected. Contact Form 7 submissions are send out without any problem. It looks like you have a local problem on the server. It can help to reinstall WP and delete plugins and reinstall them too. Hope it helps finding the problem ?????♂?. I’m sorry I can’t help you anyfurther than this for now.

Thank you @virgial for that test, it is very nice.
I don’t understand why this doesn’t work for me then.
Anyhow I think I will have to try on a test box once I get the opportunity, and try figuring out what is causing this issue.

Anyways if someone has the same issue please report it here too.

If I am able to figure out the issue I will come back on that ticket to provide the solution.

    Thank you!
