Contact Form 7 fails with Yoast SEO

    I’m using Contact Form 7 #5.8.1? and Yoast SEO #21.3. WordPress is up to date. I’m not sure which of the two is causing the issue, but what I do know is that the form no longer works with Yoast SEO. When both are active, the form seems to be showing the spinner endlessly, without actually sending the submission. As soon as I deactivate Yoast SEO, the form works again. This hasn’t happened in the past AFAIK.

    Thanks for reaching out about your form. Sadly, I couldn’t replicate this with WordPress 6.3.2, Yoast SEO 21.3 & Contact Form 7 v5.8.1. My form displays as expected in the frontend.

    Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty-Two.

    Please test this on your development or staging site if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.
