Contact form 7 freezes on file upload

  • Contact form 7 hangs (freezes) during file uploads.

    Small files upload ok but nothing bigger than 50KB uploads. File size & type limit in the form is set to:

    * Add your file.. Best to upload a zip
    [file* Files1 filetypes:zip|jpg|ai|eps|jpeg|png|gif|pdfIbmp|doc| docx|ppt|pptx|rar|bmp limit:10mb]

    Example, tested a 520 KB JPG file. After “submit” button, cform freezes

  • How does it freeze in detail? Can I see the form?

    Sounds like a trouble caused by poor server resource (memory, bandwidth, …). Do you manage that on your own? Or using a hosting service?
