• I’ve included a ‘sign up to our mailing list’ button in our contact form.

    I’ve tested the contact form with 5 different email addresses. Each submitted message is sent, but for only one of the five email addresses did I get a double-opt-in message.
    How I understand MailChimp is that I also can’t see the submitted email addresses on MailChimp *before* they agreed to the double-opt-in.

    So, how to troubleshoot this?

    @mastababa,

    Could you try to clear your cache on autoptimize and resubmit the form the the email address that is missing. Most likely you’re having javascript issues. You have a bunch of console errors on your site so I think autoptimize might be having conflicts in a few areas.

    Thanks for getting back to me. I tried it with autoptimize turned off, but it seemed to make no difference.

    Either way, I went with an alternate solution.
