Contact Form 7 is breaking the translation.

See below some sites that when using Contact Form 7, the privacy popup has its buttons in English.

We talked to the Uncode team, creators of the cookie plugin, and they identified that Contact Form 7 is causing this.

We’ve tested other systems and it’s always the same.

Apparently, when we use Contact Form 7, everything that is placed in Footer loses its translation.

Do you realize that all contact forms on the sites are in the en_US locale, not in pt_BR? Is that what you intended?

It’s always been like this.

This problem arose from version 5.7 or higher. In version 5.6 it didn’t happen.

See below how the site and my user settings are.

This is repeated on all the sites we have.

The strange thing is that this never happened and now it is directly affecting other plugins and systems.

For some reason, when we have a form on the page, the one in the footer is in English.

if we duplicate that same page and remove the form, the language is in Portuguese.

Which shows that Contact form 7 is interfering with the site.

I believe that there may be a bug, in which the plugin is not handling translations correctly.

I believe it is not because of the language of the Form, but rather, it is interfering with other plugins on the site.

I hope you can fix it, because we have many websites using this fantastic system.
But unfortunately, all giving the same problem =/
