Contact Form 7 margins

Why is this code in the contact form 7 css: .wpcf7 form > div, .wpcf7 form > p {margin-bottom: 1.2em;} ? Because of this i need to write custom css to make it ok again.. Not a big problem but i dont understand why it is there.
