Contact Form 7 no message submitted appearing

Hi I am using the Craftis theme with contact form 7. The form works but does not show a message sent when the submit button is sent. Has anyone else had this problem? also this may be connected, I have activated a captcha but does this work behind the scenes or is there supposed to be a pop up or further tick box as nothing else is showing to do with a captcha when filling the form out?
