    There is no such known bug. If you added any hooks to the form submission, it is possible that an error can occur, but I assume you didn’t do this.

    I have noticed in the past that if the plugin produces an error when processing a CF7 form submission, then on the web page, the spinning wait cursor never changes back to normal and you don’t get a message indicating the form was submitted.

    CFDB does not touch the mail function of CF7, but the save to the DB happens right before it, so an error could conceivably prevent it. But if there was an error that was preventing mail, I would expect it to happen ever time, not intermittently.

    I wonder if there is some issue sending mail to your partner’s email address.

    If you can consistently reproduce the error, then you can try deactivating CFDB. If mail aways works when CFDB is deactivated, then CFDB is likely the culprit. If you see the mail issue with CFDB deactivated then clearly it is not the culprit.
