    Hello all,

I have a problem with wordfence and contact form 7. I got an email from my customer that the contact form on his website that I made doesn’t work anymore. (It has worked before)

On this website, there are two contact forms. One without an option to send a file, and one with an option to send files such as CV. The one without the option to attach a file works fine, but the other one doesn’t. So I started debugging and found out that this only happens when wordfence is enabled, and specifically the firewall.

I tested on “learning mode”, but that didn’t work. Only when I disable the firewall my form is sending. Otherwise, the thing is just spinning.

Also in the Google console (when the firewall is enabled) I get this error: POST https://www.mijnders-transport.nl/wp-json/contact-form-7/v1/contact-forms/1033/feedback 500 (Internal Server Error)

Could this be happening because that website doesn’t have a SSL certificate?

All updates and WordPress are updated to the latest versions.

Does anybody know how to fix this?

    Thanks alot!

What I just found out is, that the form will also work (with firewall enabled) if the user is logged in.

So it only doesn’t work when you’re not logged in and sending a file.

Also some extra information, the website is running on PHP 7.0.33

I’m closing this thread as we’re communicating in a different one.
