Contact Form 7 not submitting first time

    We have a few forms on our website (all contact form 7) and have been having issues for the last week or so. Most of the time when filling the form out people have to click submit twice before it actually goes through and I’m worried we’re losing enquiries.

    We recently linked the forms up to zapier via webhooks and I’m wondering if the issue is related to this. My infusion soft coach has never heard of this causing problems before though.

    Hey. Are you using Special Mail Tags?
    Sounds like new CF7 version break. Please update to 2.2.2 to fix.

    If you are not using Special Mail Tags, let’s keep tracking the issue.

    We are currently using version 5.2.1. – would downgrading help?

    I recommend to keep everything updated.

    I sent a form from your website (MAKE AN ENQUIRY form). It was not necessary to click twice.

    But first time took 54 seconds… maybe we are facing a server issue? Without a “loading feedback” info your users could be confused about clicking twice.

    Would you check you receive one or more requests from “[email protected]” (it’s a test mail haha)?

    You can pay attention on:

    • the Loader icon indicating progression doesn’t appear.
    • the backend process takes an abnormally long time.
