Contact Form 7 Recaptcha Not Loading Every Time

    My Google recaptcha image does not load every time I load the contact form 7 page. When recaptcha does load, it works. Recaptcha does not load about 50% of the time and I have to refresh the page several times to get it to load.

    How do I fix this?

    Hi Takayuki,

    I have the latest version of Contact Form 7. When I viewed it on Chrome developer tools, I got this message when ReCaptcha didn’t load on the form:

    ReCAPTCHA couldn’t find user-provided function: recaptchaCallback

    What other plugins and theme do you use?

    I’m using the Avada theme and recently added the Wp Super Cache and Autoptimize plugins.

    I deactivated the Autoptimize plugin, and recaptcha is loading on my Contact Form now. Maybe a plugin conflict?

    could be a JS optimization problem, confirm by deactivating AO’s JS optimization and check if the captcha loads and if not, disabling CSS or HTML optimization. if the problem is with JS optimization, check the browser console when the captcha is not loading to see what JS errors are thrown. you could try excluding CF7’s JS from autoptimization (more info on troubleshooting and excluding in AO’s FAQ).

    I have Autoptimize deactivated and the captcha is loading. Thanks for the help.

    I’m also facing the exact same issue. I’m using bridge theme from Qode.
    Recaptcha doesn’t load on 1st hit but once I reload it, it again appears.

    I’ve got the following 5 active plugins:
    Animate It!
    Contact Form 7
    LayerSlider WP
    Slider Revolution
    WPBakery Page Builder
