I am having gmail business email id with my domain name. My site hosted on Godaddy, domain also registered with Godaddy.

I am using contact form 7 for my forms. I am getting below message when submitting form – Your message was sent successfully. Thanks. But I never received email in to my inbox or junk/spam folder.

I have tested from the WP-Admin login page that the “Lost your password?” works and I get an email to reset. I also tested test an email, that is also working fine. I am also getting an email on submitting form through Ninja form.

  • I have the same problem. When I′m sending mail direct to the mail adress I′m using in the form, it works, but not via contact form. It has worked before.
    Thankful for help.
    Kind regards

Having a similar issue. When sending messages via the contact form – some messages are sent, while others never arrive, even though all messages give the successfully sent message. Thanks.

    Same for me.

Works perfectly on a PC and on Samsung mobile.
iPhone it all looks good but the mail never gets sent. I need to fix this quick.
    Costing me clients.

Yes, also just discovered I’m not receiving emails. Not sure how long this has been going on.

    Try mail-tester.
Set the given email in the “To:” section of your contact form and send a message.

Figured out my issue…one was changing the “from” address in Contact Form 7. In this article it’s explained that the domain in the “from” field has to be your domain…I had it set as <[your-email]>, thinking it should be the email of the person filling out the form. There is a separate field in which to put that info.

But that wasn’t enough to solve the problem. Turns out I had to have not just the same domain, but the *exact same email address* in From as the one I use in my profile on my web host. Since I generally use a different email alias for places that send me bills from the alias I use for potential client contacts, the email was just going off into never-neverland. Once I made them the same address it works fine; I just set up a subject line “Query from contact form” and filter that into a separate folder in my email.

None of the solutions mentioned above are applicable.
My hosting profile is not set up with the domain name email, as suggested by @cdragin.
Anybody else has the same issue.

my issue was solved. I called Midphase and allowed my domains to receive the form. It took 2 minutes for them to solve.

I have the same issue. It works for gmail domain. Then i bought a domain name like this ([email protected]) now i cannot get emails. what should i do.

I am having own business email id with my domain name. My site hosted on Godaddy, domain also registered with Godaddy.

I had this same issue “I am having own business email id with my domain name. My site hosted on Godaddy, domain also registered with Godaddy.”

I was able to resolve it by following the directions in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZkAqR3Vu2XI.

I’m having issues with this as well, I’m using G Suite as my email address host. Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this? I can check my submissions internally on the site, but it would be nice to actually get a notification via email that a form has been completed.
