Contact Form 7 suddenly not working

Same problem here. I’m using WP Mail SMTP and the test email is delivered.

When submitting all forms show “there was a error…try later” corresponding to the second error message.

I use Contact Form 7 and so far I have found this error to be linked to the date/time plugin. Meaning I can submit the form successfully when I removed the date/time calendar components. Hoping to find a workaround cause I need date/time components for my form.

I’m using two additional plugins “Conditional Fields for Contact Form 7” and “Contact Form 7 Cost Calculator – Price Calculation”. I copied these plugins to a sub domain and set them up and Contact Form 7 is working there.

I don’t use a date plugin but if you’re refering to the built in date tag generator I do use that. And this is working too at my sub domain.

I found a fix in another thread here.

Remove the recaptcha settings from Contact 7. Go to settings and Integration and click Recaptcha and empty the fields and save.

I’ve deactivated and deleted the Captcha I was using and still not working. It seems they changed it to a Premium service for Contact 7 and I only had the basic so it may be what caused the issue in the first place. But removing it hasn’t resolved it, unfortunately.

Why do you need the date plugin?
There is a built in date picker.

@max-beta Hello, thanks for the assistance, can you show me an example of the time tag? When I deactivate the plugin, I only see tag option for date but not for time.

@ciphr7 Sorry I missunderstodd. I’m only using date and not time.

@unoloop555 I wasn’t “using” their recaptcha either but the site had the recaptcha settings filled in. When I removed the settings it started working.

@max-beta site had filled in, what do you mean? From where did you remove it? how?

Go to Contact 7 settings and Integration and click Recaptcha and empty the fields and save.

@max-beta thank you for help, but there is nothing there, I do not have that integrated. Checked boxes and no site key inserted. Not sure what’s wrong, used to work well.
