Contact form 7 version 5.4 is not working correctly

  • Hi, I have one question.

    I have updated the contact form 7 plugin to version 5.4. After updating, contact form is not working. It is not giving validation error. It is also not submitting form as well.

    Please resolve this issue as soon as possible.

    Same problem, roll back the version and everything will work.

    Actually, the form seems to not work (the “spinning circle” remains forever) but the message is sent. But the sender doesn’t know that it was sent so it’s essentially the same problem.

    Edited: I installed plugin WP Rollback, rolled back the contact form to the prior version and now it works correctly!

    I am having the same problem. Is there another fix besides rolling back to 5.3.

    @maryheckmann You probably have a caching plugin. Clear the cache and everything will work.

    I’m seeing the exact same thing as @mwrmwr … continuous spinning circle with no message saying “Your message was sent successfully. Thanks.” after clicking the Send button. Yet the message IS delivered instantly.

    @wolf I cleared the cache and that did not resolve the problem.

    Can we get the correct fix here so I don’t have to install a plug to revert back, only to then update back to 5.4 again in the near future?
