contact form 7–what is the meaning of the tag

  • In Contact Form 7, why do the default form items (below) all have the
    tag shown as an end tag when the “br” single line break tag is an empty tag not having an end tag. I’m New and confused by that and just wanted to learn about it. That is a great plug-in and I have donated to the author as I hope have the other 13 million people who have downloaded it.
