thank you message appear but not receiving emails, I try test mail in Php

and it works i receive the email.

can someone guide me what to do to make it work and explain what is happening..

in my previous answer I put this From: [your-name] <*[your-email]*> in MAIL section: which is as buzztone says it is wrong way because it coz problem when you want to reply the email, so it make me more time to realize how about put this From: [your-name] <*[your-email]*> under Message body: and that is all!! it work perfectly!! without any trouble……

Subject: [your-subject]

Message Body:
[your-message]

ps: that two asterisk(*) make the form work I don’t know why the important is it work… cheers ??

I used contact form 7 and some time email receive and some time not. It is really mad me. after google I got answer and changes in the field

it is working awesome. every email I got now.

Not sure if this will help everyone, but it helped me.

Oddly enough my issue seemed to be that I wouldn’t receive the email if the recipient had a gmail address (as far as I can tell). So be sure to test with various submitter email domains, to see if that makes a difference.

This is what I did to fix it.

As mentioned above, I set the Additional Headers.
Example:
Sender: [email protected]
Reply-To: [your-name] <[your-email]>

I ALSO set the From to
Contact Form <[email protected]>
With “Contact Form” being what ever you would like, and obviously an email address for your site.
(it would not work as long as I left it as [your-name] <[your-email]> )
