Contact Form Date Issues

  • I am using Contact Form 7 on WordPress 3.8 and am having issues with dates on my forms.

    1. Non of the date pickers are showing up in Firefox, Safari or IE… only in Google Chrome. In Firefox, Safari and IE the date field simply displays as a text field.

    2. I can pick a date in Chrome (formatted XX/XX/XXXX) and submit a form successfully. However, in all other browsers the form gives a date format error and will not submit even though it is manually filled out in the same format of XX/XX/XXXX.

  • I assume the form is using jquery ui datepicker. Have you tried using the console (f12, console tab) in ie to see if there are any javascript errors?
