I have my contact form set up to send to my gmail account.

When it comes to specifying that e-mail address to give out
( business cards, marketing materials etc… ) How do I use an e-mail address such as ( for an example ) [email protected] and get it linked to that SAME gmail account that I use for my contact page on my jlp blog. Does that make any sense? I am basically wanting it to look a little more professional than listing a gmail e-mail address. Want it linked TO the gmail address but titled something different like I mentioned above.

So just to clarify another example:

I have a friend who has an e-mail address she gives out as [email protected] – these e-mails go directly to her gmail account without ever having to list it as a gmail account.

    Help! Simple but so confusing!

    Hi,

There are many ways to go about this. Some domain registrars provide that kind of service. A google search for “email forwarding domain” will turn up some useful results for you.
