Contact Form Error Message

Our contact form has two issues:
1.) An error message appears when a user submits the form
2.) We do not receive an email to notify us of new form submissions
The form is set up correctly as we can see the submissions go into CF7DB plugin
For the moment we have amended the error message to say that the message has sent.
We have the latest version of Flatsome and Contact Form 7, no other updates are outstanding.
We can’t seem to find out why the error message comes up when the data is sent into CF7DB and why we aren’t getting the email notifications
Anyone else had a similar issue?

Same error message when submitting a message from my forms (…can’t be sent, try again later …). I cleaned the cache and cookies, went back to WP theme, desactivated all other plugins and I ended up identifying an incompatibility with Cookie Notice & Compliance / GPRD plugin (Hu-manity.co) Do you think this is solvable ?
