• I don’t really understand this. Following the instructions for Contact 7, if I have to add the redirections to the contact form doesn’t this completely negate the ‘After’ goal options? Eg. download a file. If I have multiple goals each to download a different file do I have to create a separate form for each with it’s own redirection code. This bypasses the benefits of the plugin ie. being able to chose the ‘After’ action in the plugin.

I may have misunderstood, confused. I look forward to a response as this plugin has potential.

    Thanks

    Hey Pixelhaze!

I apologize for the delayed response.

Can you describe to me how you would like it setup, and then I can try and outline the steps you need to take?

If there is anything buggy or that does need to be changed, we definitely want to know! That will help us steer our future development efforts.

    Thanks!

    Hi, thanks for the reply.
I’ve since implemented an alternative solution but I would have preferred to use your plugin as it seems a simpler leaner solution.

I want to be able to add a series of downloads to a site which require an email address to access. Each download would be a separate goal. So one link may appear on the homepage, another link might appear somewhere else on the site. Looking at the admin for the plugin you would add the goal short code, this provides the contact form. Then for the after action you would select direct to download (page/url). But the contact form 7 integration instructions seem to go against this. It suggests that the redirection is added to the form, surely this conflicts with the action set in the ‘after’ area of the plugin dashboard? Following the contact form 7 docs leads me to think I would need to create a contact form with a unique redirect code for each download.

I’ve tried to explain that best I can. I may be hugely missing the point but that’s what I’ve got.

    Thanks
