Contact Form no longer works after update to 5.4

    Hello,

    We have just updated to CF7 to version 5.4 and now the contact form does not work (we receive no emails).

    First issue we notice is that the “email sent” message is very slow to appear and only appears the first time you try to send an email. The next time you try to send an email you get no “email sent” message at all (nothing happens).

    Secondly we receive no email. So even though it seems to send an emil, we receive no email.

    Please can you look at fixing this ASAP.

    Update – actually now it all seems to work, so I question if the issue we had was cache related or to do with a holding page we had up.

    Anyhow, messages are being sent to us fine now and will continue to monitor.

    it is a caching issue. Exclude your CF7 sites from caching.
