I am not receiving email notifications for anyone filling out my forms. I was up until about 2 weeks ago, but haven’t received any in the last 2 weeks.

I have reviewed all other similar questions, tried them, including Postman, however, I’m still not receiving the notifications.

When I test the forms, they show up in Feedback.

I have tried multiple emails (yahoo and gmail) and neither receive the notification emails.

Please help!

Jetpack Mechanic ??

Could you check your logs in Postman to see if you receive a specific error when emails are being sent from your WordPress installation?

Let me know what you find!

I don’t want to use Postman, I can’t use it because of the setup for their personal gmail account anyways so I removed Postman.

Please help me resolve the issue for the contact forms not sending notifications to the email. Not sure why it suddenly won’t work?

Could you try to install and activate this plugin, and then submit a new contact form on your site?

The logs should tell you why your server was not able to send the email.

I tried, however, it had an error:
Error: plugin “WP Mail Logging” requires a newer version of PHP to be running.
Minimal version of PHP required: 5.4
Your server’s PHP version: 5.3.24

Also – I did get some type of email log – not sure it is the Postman or not, but it shows all emails are “Sent” under Tools > Email Log
However, when I tested the 3 forms (2 different “Free Estimate” forms and a “Contact Us” form, the client is only getting the Contact form, but now it is showing as:

“Address not found
Your message wasn’t delivered to [email protected] because the address couldn’t be found. Check for typos or unnecessary spaces and try again.”

“The response from the remote server was:
550 5.1.1 <[email protected]> Recipient not found. <https://x.co/irbounce>

“Final-Recipient: rfc822; [email protected]
Action: failed
Status: 5.1.1
Remote-MTA: dns; smtp.secureserver.net. (68.178.213.37, the server for the
domain ccspainting.com.)
Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 550 5.1.1 <[email protected]> Recipient not found. <https://x.co/irbounce>
Last-Attempt-Date: Wed, 03 May 2017 11:29:52 -0700 (PDT)”

I’m not sure why it is going to [email protected]? It shows on all the forms to be going to [email protected]

Could you give it another try without Postman? If WP Mail Logging isn’t compatible with your version of PHP, you can try this plugin instead:

I installed and activated the Email Log – I tested out one of the forms that isn’t working and it says it was sent (same thing with Postman) but it’s not being sent.

I recently completely removed the forms that weren’t working and refreshed each page and recreated each form. Tried them all and we are still only getting the Contact Us form and not the free estimate forms (using the same Jetpack forms so not sure what is preventing this). However, now the Contact Us form is going through properly (and not in code).

Still need help!

Newby here…sorry if I’m not doing this correctly. No matter what I try or what plugin I use, I can not get the notification sent to me. Website hosted by bluehost on wordpress platform. Email from G suite. They all say it is an issue with the other one. This is the last response from G Suite:

The error that you are getting is the Mod_Security called Modsec, is a popular Open-source Web application firewall. This has nothing to do with your G suite account. As you can see your able to send and receive email with no problem but if your web form sends an email it cause an issue. Frankly you′ll have to forward the error message that you are getting to wordpress support because this is their platform. Asked them if they can disable Open-source Web application firewall that′s blocking the incoming mail from coming in.
As what I have mention this is not part of your G suite core service. We′ve enabled less secure apps already to work with your 3rd party tool. Gather the error message and mail it to your wordpress technical support. Honestly I have nothing much to say. Again as long as your incoming and outgoing mail is working normally and not through wordpress it has nothing to do with. I hope you understand.

Please help!

Can you please create your own thread at the bottom, here:

https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/jetpack/

In that thread, please give your site’s URL as well as a link to the page with your contact form. Can you also please confirm whether it’s the Jetpack contact form, and whether you receive any other emails from WordPress, like comment notification emails.

Then we might be able give you some more info on this.
