• I’ve recently changed the url for my website and now the contact forms are not working. I use contact form 7 and the default contact form included in the Avada theme.

On both of the contact forms it says message successfully sent, however, I receive nothing to my email inbox.

  • Hi,

You should post in the Contact Form 7 support forums since your inquiry is directly related to that plugin.

Yea, but it’s not just contact form 7 it’s another contact form too….

When you changed the URL did you change the email address that the forms are sent to? On some hosts, I have found that you will not receive the email if the email address domain does not match the domain that the site is on. With Contact Form 7 have you tried changing the to email address to a different one. I find that regardless of the host that a gmail email almost always works.

Also when you changed URL’s did you change hosts or stay on the same host?

I have not used the Avada contact form but have run into this issue with Contact Form 7. I don’t think this specifically a WordPress issue but an issue between the host and the email address that you are using.

The first thing I would try is a different to email.

Also when you changed URL’s did you change hosts or stay on the same host?

That’s an important question. Changing the URL shouldn’t change any underlying functionality. More likely, your email wasn’t working before any you didn’t notice until changing the URL.

    Try an STMP plugin. https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/postman-smtp/
