Hello, I’m trying to set up a contact form with recaptcha, but it doesn’t work.
If i disable recaptcha the contact form is working fine and after clicking submit button I get the “thank you” message and e-mail is sent.
If i enable recaptcha (v3) when I click submit the page basically reload again with the contact form in place with the fields still compiled, no messages (neither “thank you” nor errors) and the email is not sent. On the url there’s an anchor added like #__nimble__a8b686dcf7c1

I have no other contact form plugins installed and the WP environment is pretty empty (installed a few days ago with WP 5.4).

on my google recaptcha account the request number is still at zero so I guess the request never reached google.

You can try it here https://www.cercamascherine.it/contatti/

There’s also another concern about the contact form: for us unlucky european people living under the dumber law ever (GDPR), we need also a flag to let the user check the acceptation of privacy policy. I tried searching for it in the options but I can’t find it. Is there any way to add it?

    thanks, best regards

    Hello,
    Thanks for those questions.
There’s a javascript error message when submitting a form : Error: Invalid reCAPTCHA client id:
You need to copy your api keys in the relevant fields for re-Captcha as documented here : https://docs.presscustomizr.com/article/385-how-to-enable-recaptcha-protection-against-spam-in-your-forms-with-the-nimble-builder/?utm_source=usersite&utm_medium=link&utm_campaign=nimble-form-module

About GDPR compliancy, this has been requested by other users, we’re working on a solution.

    Hello,
I did already follow the instructions and fill the required fields before posting.
I just tried to clean back everything and refill them again from stratch but it’s still not working (same javascript error as before).
Client id and secret key are correctly typed in and associated to this website.
Also tried disabling caching plugins: still no luck.

    Thanks
    regards

    OK.
Then the remaining possibilities are either a third party plugin in conflict, or a custom javascript code that you added somewhere, for example via a widget, that could break this code.

I would recommend to follow those steps before you post your next reply :

    1. Use the latest software versions : make sure the Nimble Builder and your theme are up to date.
    2. Documentation : read our documentation and check our troubleshooting tips.
    3. Search the forum : use the search field on top of the topic list with keywords describing your issue. Another user may have had a similar problem already resolved.
    4. Cache plugin : if you are using a server cache or cache plugin, please clear it’s cache content and disable caching via it’s settings.
    5. Browser : clear your browser’s cache / history
    6. Check for plugin conflict : deactivate all of your plugins. If it fixes the issue, re-activate your plugins one by one, until you identify the plugin in conflict.

If relevant you can include screenshot(s) of the issue.
Tip : You can use an online screenshot sharing tool like https://prnt.sc/ to include a link to screenshot.

hello, I followed the instructions you gave me:
    – nimble builder is updated to the last version available 2.0.11;
    – searching the support forum I found another user with the same problem with no solution found (I also had posted a reply under that message a week ago but nobody replied so that’s why I opened this new topic yesterday.)
    – troubleshooting tips didn’t help.
    – disabled all plugins except nimble builder (see screenshots below)
    – cleared browser cache and also tried with another browser not used before (edge).

    Still not working.

The problem is isolated. A fix is on the way for the next release of the plugin.
