Contact form returns “Blah Blah” on To line

    I’ve noticed when I receive contact form submissions the To: line doesn’t have the return email address or my site name or my name as I’ve configured it in the contcact form set up:

    To: <[email protected]>From: [_site_title_] <[email protected]>, Subject: [_site_title_] Inquiry, Reply To: [your-email]

    What I get is From: sender name, To: Blah Blah (which when I click on that is the return email address I entered in the form mail setup, [email protected]. But nowhere have I entered the words ‘Blah Blah’. In my email program, I see the email as the from line Blah Blah, not the name of the person sending. And, when I respond to the email, the From line on my end is not my name or my business name, but it’s Blah Blah. There is also a BCC: to Blah Blah (my email address) which I have not set up.

    I’ve checked all my .php files, every contact form setup page and nowhere do those words appear. Also, [_site_title] does not result in anything. There is no site title added to any of the form fields where that short code is placed.

    I cannot use this contact form as it is. It is unfit.

    I have discovered it’s not the contact form causing the issue, there is something amiss with the email address that has been changed somehow without my involvement. Apologies there. However, it was still probably time to move to a different contact form plugin.
