I am moving our website to a new server and am taking the opportunity to redesign it, and have chosen the Virtue free theme. On the contact form is it possible to create a dropdown list for people to select who they want to contact, so that the email could go direct to that person instead of it going to a general address and then having to be forwared on.

    Thanks
    Stephen

In your Contact edit page, under Contact Page Options set Use Contact Form to No. Then in your content area, change the number of columns of your page builder row to two and add your contact form shortcode in the second column. Does this work for you?

    Hannah,

Thanks for your help, I have sorted it now. I was using the contact page that is installed into pages when installing the theme & plugins, and forgot that i could create a new page and the select the contact template.

I just need to work on getting the SMTP setting correct to post the form.

    Thanks again.

You can use a plugin like this to test your emails:
