Contact Form sends duplicate emails

    I’m trying to post the access logs, but it seems to be rejected. Very interesting. It seems there are multiple POST requests!

    Update: Not rejected. Just shifting comments page. Confused.

    Update 2: Now my comment with the logs are gone, after I updated it for a typo. What is happening on this forum?

    Update 3: I see. The log lines contains links, too many.

    Not possible to post the logs (20 long lines). Tried four times. Gone/removed every time.

    There are eight POST requests to the form page made form same IP just 2 seconds apart. From such device:

    This is definitely odd, and shouldn’t be happening. It doesn’t happen in my tests, and it doesn’t seem to happen every time for you either. All I can think about right now is that maybe you have a caching layer that’s getting in a way? Do you use a caching plugin, or a caching solution in your server setup?

    It’s not solved. The cause is that the user or the browser actually has sent many post requests in a row. So this is not a bug in Jetpack or any other plugin.

    Hi there,

    For a while now, contact form 7 submissions are coming as double email messages (two emails of the same). What can be the issue?

    I had this same problem. Duplicate emails from every form entry. The solution was changing settings on my caching plugin.
