Contact form trouble

Hi,

I’ve been trying to use a contact form on my WP site, but the mail keeps ending up in the temp folder in my directory in a mail error log with the message “from adress not in member domain. message not sent.”

I’ve tried every address in my domain, but none work.

So, I added a link on one of my pages using
mailto:[email protected] and it arrived just fine.

I’m now considering just using one of those encoders to encode my email address (to limit spam) and trashing the contact form (I’ve tried wp-contact form by Douglas Karr and the one with askimet). Oh, I also added an alias [email protected], still nothing.

Can anyone tel me what I have to change to use a form and also if I just use an encoded mailto:… is it going to be a problem?
