Hi there guys, I’m testing the new widgets added on 1.5.1 update, and I found myself out of clues on some setting related to Contact form

How exactly has to be set up the Kaptcha ?

I have really now idea what to fill on the 2 empty fields as:

    – > ReCaptcha Site Key

    – > ReCaptcha Secret Key

Do I need a third party service to generate the Captcha codes or ?

For the meantime i’m using Akismet filter until I figure out how to. Anyway nice new Widget! Very cool !

  • Yes I am currently still having this problem. You can see for yourself at the link above. I am using SO Widgets Bundle 1.5.6

I still have not resolved this issue.

I’ve updated to Page Builder 2.3.1 and am still having this same issue. Is anyone else still having a problem with reCaptcha?

The form on this page is still giving an error.

I have to reopen the “ticket” let’s say, because the problem it is partially solved. I mean, I’ve just try to use SO Contact form on another site, which you can test the contact page at this link

The error this time, is just a RED error text after you have sumbitted the message, and the page doesn’t show ” the sumbitted successful message” even though I’m receiving the emails.

    Hi @andreadelriva

Please, could you try removing the captcha and see if the issue persists? That’ll help us isolate the issue. Thanks.

We’ve had a few Contact Form plugin conflicts this week. In addition to the above test, please, could you try testing with all nonSiteOrigin plugins deactivated and see if the result is any different. Thanks.

    Hi @misplon

I did it, and the result is the following.

Wiht captcha NOT active and all plugins enabled: It works

With only SO origins plugins enabled and captcha activated: It works

I will try to spot which plugins does the conflict now

    – Update: Looks like the puglin doing conflict is YOAST SEO, latest version ( not surprised )

I just did some more test after the update 1.5.9 to SOWB, problem still unsolved.

There is also to say that Yoast has just released a new version.

    Hi Peetu

The issue seems to be caused by a conflict with Yoast SEO.

We hope to have it resolved soon.
