• Recently our contact forms on our site have stopped working and give users this error message: “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.” However, most of the contact forms are being collected on the back end but because of the message users will try multiple times and we get multiple form fills. Then some of the contact forms are not forwarded on which is another issue.

Is there a way to resolve this? Please help. Thanks.

What do you mean by this? Do you mean you receive the email messages correctly, or just one of the plugins logs form submissions?

So it looks like we get the forms in WP but the error message that pops up for users causes them to fill out multiple forms giving us duplicates. And there has been instances where we don’t get the form and/or the form does get forwarded on via email.

Hi, I just wanted to chime in to mention that my form is doing the same thing and giving the same error message. I don’t have a lot of traffic on the site, rarely if ever get a message, but my form has not worked for years, literally. I’ve tried all I know to get it going but still no send. I suppose it could be a plugin conflict or something but I’m using a lot of plugins and wouldn’t know how to narrow down which plugins are bumping heads here.

Any thoughts on this one? I don’t want to interfere with this posters thread so I can wait till he’s done if need be. Like I mentioned, it’s been years.

Ok, thanks. I’ll try a different contact form plugin since this one has no support. Have a nice day.
