Contact forms not forwarding to hotmail address

  • Kind of baffled on this one. I have a form on my website forwarding to several emails and for the most part it works fine, but it wont send to my email address johnpedroza(a_t)hotmail.com. It will send to other hotmail email addresses that I have which totally baffles me. Anyone out there encountered this problem?

  • I just installed Contact Form 7 and I am having a similar problem, except I can’t get my submissions to send to any email address.

    Please help, do I need to install an older version?

    try an email address like yahoo or gmail for your to line. That might help you.

    On my problem I think I have another clue if the youremail is from someone on my safe sender it will go through to my hotmail account, but this is not a good solution because the majority of my contact form people are not going to be on my safe list. So I think the problem is with my hotmail settings but I can’t figure it out. I took out all my blocked users and it still is filtering the unknown users.

    Ok, now I have a temporary work around but I still don’t understand it.

    In the form I changed my from part from <[your-email]> to <[email protected]> and it worked. Kind of a wierd work around but at least now I am getting emails into my hotmail account.

    I have tried a Yahoo account and a Gmail address. It’s still not working. I am going to look for a different plugin. I have been using a contact form from “JotForm” and it has worked really well but they charge you if you get more than 100 submissions per month.
