Contact not sending emails

All, when someone attempts to “contact” me, via the contact form in blix, it never sends the email. After you click on “mail it”, the resulting page says “email sent” but it never gets sent. I have tryied various email accounts myself, both free and not free (thinking maybe it is getting rejected by someones “filters”, none have worked). Using WP 2.0 and blix. The contact form was setup according to the “readme” from the blix theme. What email address does the “contact” get sent to? I understood it to be sent to the admin address in the admin panel. Thanks for any help.
