    Jetpack Mechanic ??

Could you make sure you’ve checked the map option in your widget settings, like so:
    https://i.wpne.ws/eXqT

Let me know if it helps.

Yes. That box is checked. It gives me a message in red that the address can’t be plotted and is formatted incorrectly? It did work before. Very odd.

    Thanks for the suggestion!

Could you try to enter a different address, and let me know if the problem persists?

I would also suggest deactivating this plugin you’re currently using:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-gmap/

You can paste iFrame codes you get from Google Maps instead, that should do the trick.

Yes, the problem persists. I deactivated almost every other plugin, changed the theme to another one I have used with this jetpack feature with no issue on other sites, flushed the cache, and re-installed jetpack…twice.

I also just put the google embed in on the front page, …just in case, but I’d really like to be able to use the jetpack map and details instead.

No matter what address I use, I get “Sorry. We can not plot this address. A map will not be displayed. Is the address formatted correctly?”

    Thanks for your assistance.

Could you try to delete the widget altogether, thanks to the “Delete” link appearing in your widget settings, and then create a new one?

Let me know how it goes.

Deleted the widget everywhere, even in “inactive” and tried again. Same result. ??

Sorry to hear that didn’t work!

Could you contact us via this form, and mention this thread? I’d like to run some more tests on your site.

    Thanks!

    Will do. Thanks!

    Hi
I have 3 sites and had this same problem with the map not showing on one of my sites that I upgraded to WordPress 4.5.2.

The other two sites on an older version of WordPress still showed the map.

So I upgraded another to WordPress 4.5.2 today, and that site immediatley stopped showing the map.

    Any ideas on this.

@nickwilliamchambers Could you please start your own thread, as per the Forum Welcome?

    Thank you!

This isn’t resolved, you’ve simply cut it off. What was the resolution?!

Having the same issue. Not resolved.

Red message: Can’t display address. But the linked address (text) shows the correct location on Google Maps when clicked. No way of formatting address more correctly than I have done.

@magganpice Could you please start your own thread, as I suggested above?

In that thread, could you let me know what happens when you delete your existing widget, create a new one, set up the address and all details, save your changes, and only then check the box to add a map and add your API key?

    Thank you.
