Contacts not being assigned tag in Infusionsoft

I successfully installed Hustle, connected to my Infusionsoft API key. Then I get the option to select which ’email list’ I want to send contacts to. Here is a screenshot:
The dropdown only allows me to select existing tags (not forms) that I already created in IS. I selected the one I want.
But when I test the sign-up, although the contact is added into IS, the tag is not applied, therefore the contact does not get the automated email sequence belonging to that tag.
I did see this on Infusionsoft’s help page regarding API keys:

“This feature should only be used if a 3rd party developer asked for the encryption key. The encryption key is only needed for the Legacy authentication method. I had an API key set up. And as noted above, it’s working in that it connects to IS and enters the contact in, but they are not being tagged. I am contacting IS support too. But hoping someone here also has some ideas?
