    Hi @duracelltomi,

    Just to let you know:

Since the update that included the “Container code ON/OFF” switch we are having problems with some of our sites (a few ones) where we can’t turn it ON. In fact after the update it’s OFF by default. We noticed because some sites stopped tracking visits as the Google Tag Manager code was not included on the pages.

When we select “ON”, save changes and reload the pages, it’s OFF another time. The same occurs with the “Container code compatibility mode”. If we select “Manually coded (needs tweak in your template)”, save changes and reload the pages, it’s set to “Off (no tweak, right placement)”.

Solution we found has been to deactivate, deinstall and reinstall plugin. After reinstallation everything works as expected.

    Best regards from Spain.

    Hi,

Thanks for the explanation, I really do not see for now why this is happening but it is good to see there is some sort of “solution” for those cases.

    HI @duracelltomi,

I found out the same error on a site. It always switches back to “Off”.
Even if I uninstall the plugin and install it again it doesn’t work.

After deleting the gtm4wp-options row from the DB options table, it works again!
