The MetaSlider container height can be smaller than necessary when when any option other than HIDDEN is enabled. The text following the shortcode is overlapping on top of the thumbnails.

For the URL referenced above, with MetaSlider Pro option set to FILMSTRIP, the height is fine on Windows PC with Chrome browser. On Android phone with Chrome browser, the text following the shortcode is on top of the thumbnail images. If the THUMBNAILS option is chosen, the overlap occurs on Windows PC, also.

    WordPress Version 4.9.8

  • Hi @mikemeinz,

Can you use the support channel for the pro version? We can reply there as WP doesn’t want us providing support for commercial plugins here.

Note that I’m getting a 403 on the link you shared.

Every time I clicked on the Support link above, it took me to this support forum.

I don’t know if the issue I reported is related to the free plugin or the Pro Pack Add-On.

Anyway, I created my own workaround by putting four lines each containing a single period after the line containing the shortcode.

    Like this:

    [metaslider id=29107]
    .
    .
    .
    .
    <h3>Next Subheading</h3>

As I resize the browser window from full screen down to the size of a mobile phone screen, the periods gradually disappear into the thumbnail part of the MetaSlider container. I no longer see the “Next Subheading” text overlapping the thumbnails because the lines containing periods take up the space that overlaps the thumbnails when the screen is resized down.

It is not pretty but it will have to do!

    Hi @mikemeinz,

The link was to the WP statement on commercial products, but it looks like that moved the location of that article.

    Our support is here.

If that works for you then go with it. I can see the page now so if you want to remove the fix you added I can take a look to see if there’s a more elegant fix. Let me know (on our off-site support).
