    Hello,

Is there a way to find out the container size of an image? The image has been resized ti fit the container but I would like to know the size of the container. Kindly assist.

    Thank you,

    Gopi

    Hi @mundkurgopi1955

    I hope you’re well today!

If there are images that aren’t fitting containers, there is a way:

    – go to “Smush -> Settings -> General” page and make sure that “Detect and show incorrectly sized images” option is enabled
    – then open the page with images in browser
    – you’ll see a tab with yellow “i” icon near top-right corner on the page
    – expand it and it will show you a list of incorrectly sized images along with detected container sizes

    Here is an example:

For correctly sized images, however, Smush will not show container sizes like this and there’s no tool to check them.

A simple way is to find an image on the page, right-click on it and select “Inspect element” option and in most cases it should show you the size of the container right on the page.

    Best regards,
    Adam
