Container width not applying and content not centering

    Hi there

    I have set the container width in Astra to 1600px, (full width/container setting) but it appears to have zero effect on all my pages which continue to display at 100% browser width.

    I have had to set a manual site width using CSS but Visual composer refuses to centre the content when resizing the browser. You have to refresh the page to centre it.

    I assume the two issues are related.

    It looks terrible when resizing the browser, particularly when changing orientation on mobile devices.

    What could be causing this?

  • Hi @shereewalker,

    Is the same happening on a Page/Post that uses the default WordPress editor? If it is working fine then it must be something related to the Visual Composer. Maybe there’s something that needs to be configured correctly on the Page?
