content above slider on homepage?

    Is there a way to display content (simple text, some images, etc) on the home page above the slider?

    What I’d like to have is this:
    <header bar>
    <text>
    <slider>
    <text>
    <footer>

    Hi I saw your other instruction on how to move the slider position down. Is it possible to do what I’m trying and put content such as text above the slider?

    It’s not possible with current theme options and current templates.
    You can use any other slider plugin and insert it in needed place before or after content.

    Thanks so much, that will work fine. Excellent theme!

    I remember I can do it with previous version (1.4) of the theme, when the slider was identified by the shortcode [fruitful_slider].
    It would be very useful if it was still so.
